Existe started out as the melancholic/depressive lo-fi Black Metal solo effort of Cyril Tousignant in 2011, and slowly evolved into a complex Experimental Post-Black entity with the addition of new members. This album showcases the full talent and soundscape of their collective minds, with spoken words passages over slow and light acoustic melodies being diametrically juxtaposed to fast and aggressive bursts of intense riffing and shrieking. Truly "a haven in chaos".
